Original 18th Century George I Walnut Stool on Carved Cabriole Legs

A rare and original George I walnut stool on bracket-and eared c-scroll cabriole legs carved to the knee with a trefoil pendant, leading to pad feet.

The original drop-in seat is upholstered in the traditional manner and covered in Watts of Westminster cut silk velvet.

Lovely colour and patination throughout.
