A Fine Pair of 18th Century George III Silver Engraved Open Fret Wine Coasters

A fine pair of 18th century George III silver engraved open fret wine coasters, dated 1786, London.

Each with a central engraved roundel incorporating a well depicted eagle to the open fret engraved foliate frieze, bordered to the top and base with a fine beaded decoration.

The original baize inset moulded mahogany bases are each ringed and grooved and of good colour and patination.

Condition

Good. Wear consistent with age and use. In excellent original condition.
