A Fine and Rare George III Chinoiserie Cabinet on Stand, Circa 1760.
A rare George III cabinet on stand in the Chinese Chippendale manner, circa 1760. England. The fret pierced ‘Pagoda’ galleried top above two cupboard doors, each painted with romantic scenes, after Francois Boucher, the side panels with ribbon tied floral festoons, the elaborate chinoiserie decorated black lacquer interior fitted with an arrangement of drawers and open shelves and trellis pierced sliding doors, the blind fret carved stand raised on four chamfered square legs.

30” George I ‘caddy’ topped figured walnut chest, circa 1730-50. The chest is beautifully age patinated and retains original features to include, open plate brassware and shaped bracket feet. The chest incorporates all the features associated with the very best London made variants of the period.
