An Important 18th century George II Carved Walnut Stool, Circa 1730-1740 England.

Sitting on four solid walnut carved cabriole legs eared with scrolling leaves of acanthus, scallop shells to each knee and trailing pendant each terminating on well-drawn ball and claw feet.

Covered in 18th century petit point tapestry depicting flowers.

It should be noted that this stool is incredibly well drawn with perfect proportions in original condition and has the most wonderful colour and patination.
