Compact George II Mahogany Chest with Brushing Slide, Circa 1740

The top with moulded double re-entrant corners, above a long brushing slide and four fine oak-lined graduating drawers, with original open plate brass handles, large escutcheon, locks and key. Raised on all four original bracket feet.

A superb and original example with lovely age patinated surfaces.

Condition

Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Of superb colour and patination with original bracket feet, locks, handles and escutcheons.
