A William IV mahogany bergere armchair with curved bar ‘paper scroll’ top rail cane panel back and sides with scroll arm supports, the cane panel seat with the original buttoned leather loose cushion on turned reeded tapered legs, terminating in brass cappings and wheel castors.

A strongbox of similar merit form and style resides at Burghley House in ‘The 1st George State Room.
