Early 18th Century Irish George I Mahogany Console Table with Marble Top

A rare early George I mahogany Irish console table with the original thick-cut statuary marble top over a shaped frieze centred by a carved shell. Raised on eared cabriole legs carved to the knee with a shell, pendant and flower patera leading to hoofed pad feet.

The table is in very good condition and has the most wonderful original patinated surfaces.
